By Anna Chan

Yearning to get a taste of the magic of nature? Then turn on your television Sunday night for a stunning sight and a science lesson.

Discovery's "Frozen Planet" is taking viewers to the North Pole to dig into the impact of rising temperatures on humans, polar bears and other wildlife. But in addition to that, naturalist David Attenborough narrates as the program takes a look at the science behind the beautiful aurora borealis, also known as the northern lights.

"Frozen Planet" airs at 8 p.m. Sundays on Discovery, and is also available on DVD and Blu-ray.
