Fencing Wraps Up First Day At Ivy Championship

The Big Red women's fencing team wrapped up the first day of competition at the Ivy League Championships, falling to Princeton (22-5), Harvard (16-11) and Brown (15-12). Cornell's foil squad had the most success on the day, earning wins against the Crimson and the Bears.
All three members of the Big Red's foil squad is placed among the top seven with April Whitney in fifth place with a record of 6-3, while Angelica Gangemi and Christine McIntosh tied for seventh with a 5-4 record overall.
The Big Red is back in action tomorrow as it will face Penn at 10 a.m., Yale at 11:30 a.m. and Columbia at 1:45 p.m.?
